The 30-Minute Education Strategy Session is a paid, professional diagnostic consultation designed for parents who need clarity, direction, and expert judgment regarding their child’s educational needs.

This session is intended for families facing challenges related to special education services, IEPs, 504 Plans, school placement, or escalating academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns. It is not a free consultation and not a full advocacy service, but rather a strategic assessment to determine the most appropriate next steps.

✅What This Session Includes

During this focused session, Ask the Advocate will:

  • Identify key issues impacting the student’s educational progress

  • Clarify risks related to services, placement, regression, or school response

  • Discuss strategic options and possible pathways forward

  • Determine the level of support needed based on the complexity of the case

Families leave the session with a clear understanding of their situation, what may be missing, and what actions are necessary to move forward effectively.

✅Who This Session Is For

This session is appropriate for families who:

  • Are navigating IEP or 504 Plan concerns

  • Are considering program or placement changes

  • Are experiencing school refusal, regression, or escalating challenges

  • Want professional insight before making decisions

  • Are prepared to invest in effective solutions rather than piecemeal advice

❌ What This Session Does Not Include

To ensure the session remains strategic and effective, it does not include:

  • Line-by-line review of evaluations, IEPs, or school documents

  • Drafting of letters, IEP language, or formal responses

  • Step-by-step scripts for meetings or communications

  • Follow-up consultation outside of an active engagement

  • Families requiring these services will be referred to a core or premium advocacy package.

Next Steps After the Session

At the conclusion of the session, Ask the Advocate will recommend the appropriate level of support based on the student’s needs. Recommendations may include:

  • No additional services if limited guidance is sufficient

  • Enrollment in a core advocacy package

  • Enrollment in premium or crisis-level support

This ensures families receive support that matches the complexity and urgency of their situation.

Investment

$150 | 30 minutes

A portion of the session fee may be applied toward a core or premium engagement if services begin within seven (7) days of the session.

Important Note: Due to the individualized nature of this work and limited availability, this session is intended for families seeking professional assessment and strategic guidance—not free consultations or ongoing advice outside of an active agreement.
