“I Can’t, We CAN! "

Alone, we may make ripples, but together, we create waves. Let us stand as a united front, unwavering in our commitment to prompt change in the lives of students with disabilities and shape a better future for all.

Dear fellow champions of special education,

The moment has come for us to come together and pool our knowledge. And commitment to bring about significant change in our industry. We all contribute different viewpoints. Thoughts to the table, and together we have an amazing amount of knowledge and expertise. In order to work together, refer, advocate, and effect change, I am seeking additional experts in the sector.

Let's overcome the difficulties we encounter and acknowledge that our common objective—to empower and raise kids with disabilities—is greater than any personal preferences or conflicts. We can genuinely improve the lives of those we serve when we work together, cooperate, and support one another.

Let's make a commitment to candid discussion and communication, exchanging creative ideas, best practices, and insights from both our achievements and disappointments. Let us relentlessly push for the funding, assistance, and acknowledgment that our kids are due, never faltering in our resolve to provide inclusive, egalitarian, and stimulating learning environments for everyone.

Regardless of a student's aptitudes or difficulties, we can work together. To influence the direction of special education and create a better future for all.

The time for change is now, and together. We are unstoppable.

In solidarity and with unwavering determination,
Maureen Brown
